Anyone Tried Promoting Blockchain Marketing with Crypto Ad Networks?

So here is something I have been thinking about lately. We all keep talking about blockchain, crypto projects, tokens, and the whole buzz around them. But when it comes to actually getting the word out, it feels like things get messy. Social platforms are tricky, ads get flagged, and sometimes it feels like nobody outside the crypto circle even knows your project exists.
That got me curious about crypto ad networks. I mean, is anyone really using them to promote blockchain marketing in a way that actually works? Or is it just another hype tool that looks good on paper?
The Frustration Part
I have tried running ads for a blockchain-related project before. Honestly, it was a headache. Google and Facebook are super strict with anything crypto-related. Even if the project is 100% legit, the moment the system sees words like token or exchange, the ad is either rejected or flagged. That left me stuck with no proper way to reach the audience who might actually care.
It made me wonder, are we all just stuck with random Discord groups, Twitter threads, and Telegram shilling? Because those feel so hit-and-miss.
What Made Me Curious
Then one day while scrolling through a crypto forum, I saw a thread where people casually mentioned crypto ad networks. The conversation wasn’t promotional, just people sharing what worked for them. Some said they got better traffic for niche blockchain campaigns compared to traditional platforms. That sounded interesting to me because it felt like there might be an alternative to banging my head against the wall with mainstream ads.
So I decided to read a bit more and check if these networks actually give space to projects that talk about blockchain without the usual rejections. Turns out, there are places where blockchain ads are not only accepted but are the main focus.
My Personal Test
I tried one small campaign through a crypto ad platform just to see how it goes. Nothing crazy, just a small test budget. The results were not explosive, but they were way more targeted than what I got elsewhere. At least the clicks were from people already into crypto and blockchain, which made sense because that’s exactly who I wanted to reach.
It wasn’t perfect, of course. Some traffic looked less engaging, and I think you really need to experiment to figure out which placements work best. But compared to the silence I got from my blocked ads on mainstream platforms, this felt like progress.
What I Took Away
What I realized is that crypto ad networks might not be the magic solution, but they fill a gap that mainstream advertising leaves wide open. If you are into promoting blockchain marketing, it might be worth giving them a try instead of relying only on social channels.
I am not saying this is the ultimate fix, but from my little experiment, I can say it is at least a step closer to reaching the right crowd. If you are curious, you can read more here about Leading crypto ad networks for blockchain promotion. It helped me get a better idea of where to start.
So my question is, has anyone else here tried running campaigns this way? Did you find it worth the effort, or did you face the same issues I did with engagement? Would love to hear how others are dealing with blockchain promotion since I feel like we’re all just figuring it out as we go.
